10 year Interconnecting Smoke Alarm

The Honeywell Home R200S-N1 is an optical smoke alarm powered by a tamper-proof 10 year lithium battery, fitted with a low-power chip to help extend the battery life. The alarm can be tested / silenced simply by pressing anywhere on the front face of the alarm. The alarm sounder can be silenced for up to 10 minutes in the case of a false alarm. The R200S-N1 automatically self-tests the sensor and electronics to ensure there are no faults, if faults are highlighted this is clearly indicated and an audible fault tone will sound. Fault tones can be silenced for up to 9 hours to reduce nuisance noise and allow suitable time to investigate the issue. The alarm contains a radio-interlink module which allows it to be interconnected with up to 11 other compatible Honeywell Home alarms from the R200 series. Once connected this will create a synchronised system where if one alarm is activated, all other alarms will activate to provide warning throughout the property.
